ACADEMIC STRUCTURE

Our understanding of child development has grown exponentially over the past century, providing a window into the ways in which young students learn. Children are natural risk-takers, bold explorers who question, experiment and create.
Highly qualified and experienced team has designed our curriculum by which student learning takes place naturally by blending subjects in a holistic approach of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). While gaining a firm academic foundation, children also learn to appreciate their diverse peers, explore new languages and concepts, develop social and emotional balance, and become responsible for their own learning.

Skills for the future

The jobs of tomorrow might not have yet been imagined. As the changes in science and technology continue to gather pace, we want to nurture the skills your child needs to succeed in the 21st century. Our curriculum is centered on our school motto: Modelling excellence by nurturing innovative minds. We make some decidedly different choices that we believe will better prepare your child for a globally-connected world. This is not just about technology. Our curriculum is much more powerful. We aim for your child to develop a meaningful international perspective, cultivate a broad range of skills, and have the opportunity to explore the world.

PRE-NURSERY– KINDERGARTEN

Our Kindergarten’s main goal is to help our students to develop their intellectual and social skills in an environment that is fun and that they feel safe and secure in. While doing so we also aim to create a positive outlook and desire to learn that will last all through their education. During this time, while teaching the students to adjust to new situations, we also teach them how and when to meet their needs of personal development, using methods that stimulate the child in an effective and fun way. During this critical period the most important thing is to develop the student’s basic skills. Our teachers have been trained to teach in many methods to bring all skills to the best of their potential.

Acadmics Sessions

The Designing of School Curricula requires a conceptual foresight and imagination. The Curriculum for different classes is discussed below..

  1. Exhaustive evaluation and improvements are made year after year to keep the curriculum dynamic.
  2. All out efforts are made to devise the most effective method for the implementation of the requirements of the curriculum.
  3. While selecting textbooks we generally keep in mind the student learning outcomes given in the National Curriculum 2006.
  4. The Schools are affiliated with the respective Board of intermediate and Secondary Education.

Nursery and Prep

The First Educational step that a child takes at an impressionable age of four is in Nursery and then on to Prep. Bearing in mind that the foundation of a child personality is laid and two third of his/her intellect formed at this age, we have created an environment and system of teaching which is entirely Child friendly. The students of these Classes are housed in a separate Block with their own work area, play-area and well equipped activity room. Formal learning of the three R’s is introduced in Nursery. It finds a more prominent place in the Prep Curriculum, when the child is five. Recognition, reading and writing of Urdu and English alphabet and small words are then introduced. Basic arithmetic concepts are also introduced.

Class I to V

The basic concepts that a child was introduced to the Preschool take a more firm footing here and the syllabus becomes more Broad-based. The Young learner is gradually exposed to subjects like Urdu, English, Mathematics, General science and Social Studies besides teaching of Islamiyat&Naazra Quran. Efforts are made to make teaching communicative and Interactive to encourage student’s participation.

Class VI to VIII

The Curriculum, for Classes VI to VIII is designed to develop the all round personality of students. It includes Academics as well as a variety of co-curricular activities. The academic subjects include Urdu, English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology,) Social Studies Computer Education, Islamiyat and Naazra Quran.

Class XI to X

Our Schools are affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore and Gujranwala. The Curriculum prescribed by the Board is followed. We generally offer Science Group with Biology or Computer Science as an elective subject. However, choice of Humanities Group is also available.
